Stand up comedy returns to Bowling Green

If you're looking for entertainment option besides live music, stand up comedy has returned to Bowling Green.  Spillway Bar and Grill, which is well known for music has reserved the first Thursday of every month as "Comedy Night".  With admission of only $5, Spillway owner Robert Baxter believes there is no need to drive to Louisville or Nashville to see great comedians.  Sinja Promotions, who books the comics at Spillway brings in nationally touring comedians, many who have been featured on Comedy Central, BET, and Bob and Tom Radio.  The next show, which is scheduled for January 9th is headlined by comedienne Katrina Brown with special guest, Keith Bergman.  This show is a perfect ladies night out, as Katrina doesn't hold back about issues females are familiar with.  The show starts at 7pm, but you might get there early to get a good table.  Follow Spillway Bar Grill on Facebook to keep updated on future shows, especially March 6th when Campbellsville native Stewart Huff returns for a show.
