Adam Moore, is being recognized for his talent with a nomination for a Grammy award in the category Best Recording Package for his work on Foxhole's latest album, Well Kept Thing.
The album is Foxhole's third, but was unusually long in the making. Though the band was formed by friends attending WKU, members have since gone on to start families and careers - endeavors which carried them far apart and made the business of creating an album difficult. But, modern technology allowed the members to collaborate when time allowed and after 12 years Well Kept Thing was completed.
Moore is both the designer of Well Kept Thing and a member of the band. Foxhole consists of Derek Holt, Greg Leppert, Adam Moore, Justin Shepherd and Chris Vicari. The band describes itself as "a post-rock group of limited output but surprising longevity" based in Louisville, Bowling Green, Nashville and Cambridge.
Regional artist Andee Rudloff describes Adam Moore's design for the album as unique, saying "The thick French Paper packaging with the deep blind emboss coupled with the geometric minimal illustration make this package completely memorable."
The Grammy awards will be aired February 10. Nominees in the Best Recording Package category include:
