It's the season for decorating eggs!    Susan Calloway Nimersheim, Instructor

Pysanky is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist (batik) method. The word pysanky means "to write", as the symbolic designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax. This workshop will provide you with a basic background of the art and take you step by step through the making of at least one egg to take home with you. We will work with two traditional designs. You do not need any artistic skills for this class.

All materials and supplies will be provided, including eggs. This workshop ranges from beginners to experienced egg pysanky student. At least one egg will be completed and possibly two.
