15th Annual Hangar Party Set for August 28, 2021

Aviation Heritage Park (AHP) is excited to announce that its 15th Annual Hangar Party, Let Freedom Ring, will be held at the Bowling Green/Warren County Regional Airport, 1000 Woodhurst Street, on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 5:00 to 10:00 PM.

The highlight of the 2021 Hangar Party will be honoring Bowling Green native Col. Arthur (Mac) Reynolds. Colonel Reynolds was assigned duties with HMX-1 in 1999 and held the title of the Presidential Helicopter Pilot, serving three presidents: Reagan, George W. Bush, Clinton and one vice-president: George H.W. Bush. Telling his story is the newest addition to the Park, a Sikorski SH-3H Sea King helicopter in Marine One colors that is on permanent display at the Three Springs Road location since its virtual dedication in September, 2020.

All proceeds from the Hangar Party sustain Aviation Heritage Park’s annual operating expenses. This is what allows the Park to acquire, transport, and restore new aircraft to display, and to provide community educational programs and events free of charge.

You won't want to miss this event! Your ticket is ALL-INCLUSIVE giving you full access to a barbecue dinner, free drinks, aircraft displays, and local favorite band, Bueler’s Day Off.

Tickets are on sale now at aviationheritagepark.com (PayPal / Credit Card). Cash purchases (only) are available locally at Ford’s Furniture, Nat’s Outdoor Sports, Chuck’s Liquor on Three Springs Road, and Barbara Stewart Interiors. Tickets are $40/adults, $15/children six-12, five and under are free.
