A partnership between the Housing Authority of Bowling Green, Independence Banks and the Kentucky AmeriCorps will provide beds to 50 children, elderly and disabled.

With the assistance of several community partners the Housing Authority of Bowling Green (H.A.B.G.) will be distributing 50 beds to children, disabled and the elderly, who are without beds. Through a partnership between the H.A.B.G., Independence Bank and the Kentucky AmeriCorps; H.A.B.G. staff and volunteers will be delivering and setting up beds on Saturday, October 19th 2019 beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the H.A.B.G. Envision Center located at 247 Double Springs Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42101. Donations from Tempur & Sealy, Independence Banks, Bowling Green Rotary Club, Bowling Green Kiwanis Club, BG Public Library, International Center of Kentucky, and Country Oven Bakery include: mattresses, bed frames, complete bedding sets, pillows, baked goods, books, laundry detergent, and oral hygiene items will be given to each recipient.
