On August 27, The Bowling Green Saladworks will open with $5 signature salads and $8 Carvery salads, for a limited time. This will be the first Saladworks restaurant in Kentucky, with seven more stores planned for the Kentucky and Tennessee markets.
Saladworks is a unique restaurant concept, allowing customers to build entrée-sized salads according to whatever fits their fancy. Customers can choose one of 12 suggested ‘Signature Salads,’ or customize their meal with over 60 ethically sourced ingredients chopped fresh, in-house, every single morning. From avocado to walnuts, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone. This Saladworks location also offers the new Saladworks Carvery menu of 8 Carver salads. Saladworks Carvery adds four hot and freshly-grilled, hand-carved proteins to the menu, able to be added to any salad – lemon chicken, BBQ chicken, grilled steak or seared ahi tuna. Additionally, customers can choose from 10 new ingredients exclusive to Carvery.
The Shoppes of Gary Farms Center location is owned and operated by franchise owners Brian Fox, Howard Harmon and Rett Dallas. This is their first of eight Saladworks locations in the Kentucky and Tennessee markets. Their second location, at The Shoppes at Thoroughbred Square in Franklin, Tennessee (off of Cool Springs Blvd.) will open in late September. Fox, Harmon and Dallas are no strangers to business. Their current business, Foxmar, Inc. which specializes in training and workforce development services, is headquartered in Bowling Green. The town and the new development where their first location will be situated was a natural fit for their Saladworks.
