Cave City officials anticipate thousands of visitors to descend on the town during the Oversteet Arrowhead’s Show April 3-4. Hosted by Cox's web based Sam Cox Artifacts .Com. The Official Turtle Man - Overstreet Arrowheads Shows will be backed by Browns fan drawing celebrity abilities and Cox's nationally known 1400 page best-selling Overstreet Arrowheads Identification & Price Guide published by Random House Publishing New York, NY, and distributed through all major book sellers worldwide.

“The show is intended to be the first of a number to take place within the state for the year of 2015 and eventually moving to a nationwide tour of shows to follow in 2016,” says Sam Cox, event backer. “We expect over 40 artifact vendors to showcase their collections. With Turtleman Ernie Brown’s interest in collecting artifacts, it was a natural fit to work together to connect with thousands of other interested individuals further educating and joining them into the collecting hobby”, he states.

“We are excited to bring something this large to Cave City”, states Sharon Tabor, Executive Director Cave City Tourist and Commission. “We have been working closely with Cave City Chief of Police Jeff Wright, City Hall, and the restaurant establishments to ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible. The Convention Center has parking capacity for less than 400 cars. We are in conversation with property owners to expand parking opportunities, and with Caverna Superintendent Cornelius Falkner to provide bus service from the Convention Center to the satellite parking lots. A lot of plans will be last minute depending on the weather”, she states. “Based on conversation with other venues, we expect long lines each day waiting to enter the Convention Center. Ernie Brown is not a stranger to Cave City, as he often dines at the Watermill when traveling in this area. But this time he will be staying a couple of days and bringing Native American dancers for additional entertainment during the show. We are also encouraging attendees to visit our local attractions while they are in town. We have had calls from folks as far away as Canada who are interested in meeting Turtleman.”

Doors open at 8am Friday, April 3 and Saturday April 4, closing at 6pm. Admission is $10 per person. Vehicle Parking $5.
