"Hey, Dad ... wanna have a catch?" When Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) makes his heartfelt request in the closing moments of FIELD OF DREAMS, moviegoers became misty-eyed and reminiscent of how America's pastime truly bonds us. This Father's Day, celebrate baseball and one man's journey to ease his family's pain when FIELD OF DREAMS returns to Bowling Green for two days only: Sunday, June 16 (Father's Day), and Tuesday, June 18.

Seeing FIELD OF DREAMS on the big screen makes for a perfect Father's Day outing, and a special opportunity for dads to introduce a new generation of sons and daughters to a film that has become synonymous with pursuing a dream as it has with baseball.

The 30th anniversary presentation of FIELD OF DREAMS is part of the Fathom Events TCM Big Screen Classics series, which also includes the Civil War epic GLORY in July, the 50th anniversary of HELLO, DOLLY! in August, and motion picture masterpiece LAWRENCE OF ARABIA in September.

Field of Dreams returns to movie theaters a century after the Chicago “Black Sox” scandal that plagued baseball and that fascinates Ray Kinsella as he undertakes an extraordinary gamble before setting off on a journey that connects him with three unlikely allies: reclusive author Terence Mann (James Earl Jones), baseball player Archibald “Moonlight” Graham (Burt Lancaster) and “Shoeless Joe” Jackson himself (Ray Liotta). With the support of his wife (Amy Madigan), Ray discovers the importance of long-sought forgiveness in director Phil Alden Robinson’s film, which has become synonymous with baseball.

Before and after each presentation of Field of Dreams, TCM Primetime host Ben Mankiewicz will offer fascinating insight into the making and legacy of the film.
