PTK's Kentucky Voices Playwriting Workshop taught by Liz Fentress

PTK's Kentucky Voices playwriting workshop will take place on  Tuesdays, beginning January 8th. The dates on this event are tentative. A schedule will be decided and given at the first session, based on participants/conflicts. All dates and times are subject to change.

The workshop offers playwrights at all levels a review of playwriting basics, and an opportunity to write or develop a play. During the six sessions led by Liz Bussey Fentress, participants will undertake writing exercises, and discuss theme, structure, character, plot, and writing and revising dialogue. If you have a script in progress, bring it along. Be prepared to discuss other participants’ plays, and to work with actors during staged readings at the conclusion of the workshop.

The cost to participate is $100.00 (Financial Aid is available. Send an email to ptkybg@gmail.com for more info.) Email ptkybg@gmail.com or call 270.781.6233 if you would like to sign up for the workshop or have questions.

Workshops are located at the PTK Studio, 511 Fairview Court, Bowling Green, KY 42101 (Between Chestnut and State Street, on the back, right, side of the building that houses Green River Scrubs and Labor Finders).

Workshops take place from 6:30–8:30 p.m.

There will be staged readings on Friday and Saturday, March 29 and 30, exact times will be decided depending on participants.
