Please join the Study Abroad & Global Learning community for a cup of coffee on Saturday November 3rd, from 5pm - 7pm to kick off WKU’s International Education Week with our first StorySLAM: Serendipity.
Discoveries, fortuitous encounters, hilarious coincidences- we’re talking about all those connected moments from experiences abroad. Tellers will each share a five minute story about their most serendipitous moments, whether big or small, we’re going to hear them all!
StorySLAM: Serendipity is coordinated by the SAGL Student Representatives Program at WKU. Want to be a part of more events like this? Check out the program and keep an eye out for our Spring 2019 application opening soon!
The SAGL Student Representatives are a passionate team of trained student ambassadors that promotes international education at WKU. They support the endeavors and extend the reach of the SAGL Office by giving informational presentations, completing weekly office hours, engaging in peer advising, generating social media content, mentoring and befriending exchange students, staffing outreach events, and more. Students in the program represent a wide array of academic disciplines, student organizations, and study abroad opportunities available at WKU. Krista Erickson (Staff Advisor) and Erin Evans (Graduate Assistant) oversee and coordinate the program
