The WKU Center for Citizenship & Social Justice invites you to join them on Monday, November 19th from 4:00-5:00 pm at the Downing Student Union (DSU), Room 2123 for the final lecture of the Fall 2018 semester series, “Social Justice Salons” (SJS) - a lecture series for WKU faculty, staff, students, and community members to gather and discuss complex contemporary issues surrounding citizenship and social justice. The typical format of “Social Justice Salons” includes a short presentation on a topic followed by facilitated discussion.

“Social Justice Salons” will be held monthly during the 2019 Spring semester. The November salon lecture will be led by Dr. Marla Zubel of the English Department. Dr. Zubel will present “Cinema & Social Justice from 1968 to Present.”

The salon is open to anyone interested in participating. Refreshments will be provided. If you have any questions, contact leah.ashwill@wku.edu or call 270-745-3218.
